These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and TARIK KOCYIGIT (“we”, “us”) for the PetJive iOS application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, buying a product, or using PetJive, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PetJive lets you create short AI videos of pets. You choose an animal template, upload a pet photo, and we generate a video. Templates may cost credits. Membership and credit packs are sold through the App Store. Features, prices, templates, and availability may change.
The Service is for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Generated videos are not professional media, veterinary advice, or a record of real events. Accounts without an active membership may receive a watermarked video.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to these Terms where you live. PetJive automatically creates or restores a guest account using a device identifier stored in the iOS Keychain. No manual registration, username, password, or email verification code is required. You are responsible for activity on your guest account and for protecting access to your device. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
You can delete your account in the app. Account deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel auto-renewal in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Payments for digital products in the iOS app are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple ID. Apple’s payment terms and refund process apply. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Credit packs are consumable. Membership is an auto-renewable subscription. The title, length (for example weekly, monthly, or yearly), and price are the ones shown in PetJive and on the App Store product page at the time you confirm the purchase. Membership records a VIP expiry date. It does not by itself make every template free unless the app says so for that template.
For an auto-renewable subscription:
If Apple reports that a subscription has expired or has been refunded or revoked, the corresponding membership entitlement and unused membership gift credits tied to that benefit are adjusted to reflect the verified status. Turning off auto-renewal alone does not remove the remaining paid subscription period. Credits from a refunded consumable purchase may also be reversed if they are still unused. When you choose Restore Purchases in the app, we synchronize eligible purchases with Apple and verify the currently valid subscription for your current guest account. This does not create a second grant for a transaction we already applied, restore previous videos, or transfer a previous guest account’s credit-pack balance.
You keep your rights in photos and other materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide license to host, process, transcode, and transmit Your Content as needed to operate the Service, including processing images on our own servers to generate your video. You represent that you have the right to upload the photos and that they do not infringe others’ rights or contain illegal material.
AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to other results. We do not guarantee that a video will match a template preview, be unique, or stay available forever. We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to view, save, and share videos generated for your account. We may remove generated files to operate, secure, or improve the Service, or if they violate these Terms.
You may not: upload someone else’s photo without permission; generate sexual, violent, or illegal content involving real people, especially minors; reverse engineer the Service; abuse invites, credits, or purchases; interfere with other users or the Service; or scrape outputs to train a competing model. We may refuse a job, reclaim credits obtained by abuse, and suspend accounts.
Purchases use the App Store. Files are handled by our cloud providers. Those providers have their own terms. We generate videos automatically using a Qwen model deployed on our own servers. The AI-processing component does not retain submitted photos after processing, involve human review, or use photos for model training. This describes the AI-processing stage only; other storage and deletion practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Generation-result updates are delivered inside the app when it is in the foreground and connected, rather than through background iOS system push notifications.
These Terms are between you and TARIK KOCYIGIT only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for PetJive or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app itself; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory requirements, or intellectual-property claims. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms, including the App Store terms. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that generated videos will meet your expectations. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost credits, data, or profits. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. This limit does not apply where law does not allow it.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. You may stop using PetJive and delete your account in the app. We may stop providing the Service or a feature.
